Hello my deviant readers. Sorry for be so absent, at the last days, weeks and months many things changed. Many work came, many work  continued and many work has been done. As you can see i updated my gallery with some new works like:

I'm currently working in another comics project but (at least) it's less work than the last months and i can concentrate in other works, the expectative is to finish this project til late december and then start with another personal comic project (if i don't get any other paid project), and i will announce here in my journal.

I've been praticing a lot during my free time (with sketches) new styles, poses, clothings and estereothypes for my charachters and i'll post'em sooner here on Da in some 'sketchin' post just like one of my favourite artsts - - does in his SketchPan post - fav.me/d3dagcj

Well, i have more good news, last week precisely happened the Glass House Anual Dinner, where our guru - David Campiti, comes to brazil for a visit and celebrate with us, brazilian artists. I had the pleasure to talk with him personally and meet another artists like Fabio Laguna, furuzono, Nanquilizador and Mauro Fodra.

They are all great artists and their arts impressed me a lot, it was a nice time, we chat a lot and trade many ideas through the dinner. But, my biggest surprise was when David gave me an unexpected gift, the book "How to draw Comics" dedicated and signed by him (as contributor writter) and the auctor Stan Lee.

I believe, thanks to my efforts and studies, he thinks that i deserved that gift, and i tell you all my friends, if you have a dream, pursue that no matter what people tell you, no matter how hard and how far it's from you, you always have a chance to reach it as long you believe you can do it.

Ten years ago, when my masters - and - taught me how to draw and write comics, i would never think that i could reach this point, and i can say with pride that i'm still pursing my dream, my friends and i can do it, because i believe it.

Once again, thank you David and all the good artists that were present, for this wonderful dinner.

And, another week just flew away in front of our eyes, gladly as the time flies, our work flows in a parallel line and we always finish some jobs and start another ones.

And this week we had the last class before the break at the Quanta Academy's break that'll last til August. I'm sad cos i won't have any class and any lessons to help my techinique's improvement, but gladly i'll have another night to make my jobs for a month

The bad new is that my girlfriend got badly sick since last week but, yesterday was the top of all and i took her to the hospital to wait for the WHOLE DAY for a treatment, i know there's a lot of people waiting too, but unfortunatelly there's so few medics to deal with all of these people, why don't they hire more people to attend people? Man the wait was so long that i finished reading my whole book waiting for her to do an exam T_____T

Yeah, i had to stay outside because (obviously) we can't follow watching the exam with the patient. Well, at least (although the endless wait) she was in good hands after another doctor complain with the hospital's admins for the long time that patients were waiting to be treated. Good man, he was one of the few professionals there that was REALLY doing a good job.

We reached there at 13:00 and left around 21:30... but at least, we found through the exams that she's healty, maybe it's just stress that we're facing everyday here.

I've been very busy working in projects and in a DVD that i (for godess's sake) finished this last wednesday and i'm finally "free", sooner you'll see new posts of mine here at my gallery. But, you may asking yourself - Yonami, why don't you post'em now, once that you've done a BUNCH of projects??? o___o

The answer is - unfortunately, i can't reveal any images from these projects until they release or their owners allow me, so please don't get mad on myself .________.

Well, gladly i'm fighting against the stress with a habit that i developed (at late) when i got here at São Paulo, READ books. Yes, if you don't know, i was not used to read often but since last year, i read around 10 books and yes, it is a great number for me, i even surprised myself o___o

Currently i'm reading The Archer (Bernard Cornwell) and it's a very good reading. But how do i read if i'm always working?? That's a simple answer my dear Padawans, and i believe a good number of you knows that we always make long trips everyday at buses, trains and other transport systems, and man, i can say that the books (and my PSP, of course) were my best friends ._____.

This last week i've finished the Metal Gear Peace Walker for PSP and what a FUCKING WONDEFUL GAME 8D

Okay i'm suspect to say cos i'm great Metal Gear's fan but, i really enjoyed this game and it saved me from stress a lot of times during my breaks for lunch and transport from a place to another at buses. I totally recommend.

Hello, everyone. How are you all going??

Well, well, this week is flying, gladly or maybe sadly. I wish i could enjoy a bit more. I'me doing some stuff at my regular job (i work at a video producer - www.deck16.com.br) and we are preparing an update for the site, what makes me BUSY A BUNCH!!! I'm sorry for all my comissionners fr the late, i'm having a lot of jobs to do, but you'll have your art sooner cos i'm already working on it o__o

But, the good part was that i started a new study for my style, and sooner i'll post new works to you see, mixinh styles and methods to find a good results, let's say i'm playing as "chemical artist", hahahaha. Now i mentioned art, recently i bought a book from Dean Yeagle (for reference) at www.cagedbeagle.com and asked him to sign it for me, and it ARRIVED!!!!!!!! hahahahaha i'm a happy kid with his new toy as you can see here - www.facebook.com/media/set/?se… LoL

And now i realize me as the little hopper with the master's book signed by his own hand *____*

Dean Yeagle is a great artist and i admire him SO MUCH, since earlier days he's a great reference for my females, poses and body expressions, i feel so honored (as person and artist) to have this great reference, and specially, signed by his own hand. :happy:

Talking about honor, my master came from manaus this week to have a physioterapy class and we could meet some times to train again (man i got really beated by training), but unfortunatelçy i'm too sedentary after one and a half year without training .____.
But i'm thinking seriously to get back to trainings at least to distract my mind at the intervals or i'll get VERY stressed with all of these jobs that i have to do.

Gladly i'm a versatile artist and i draw in every place, watching a movie, listening to a music, drinking, talking, left handed (that fits a good meme huh?) since pub's desks to my board at the bus LoL All artists should try that, you'll never qet late with your jobs (unless you have to paint'em digitally).

At class this week i made a drawing at his scrapbook and i'll post it soon he scan it for me

Oh yeah, now i mention that, as you know reading my journals, i'm following the Mortal Kombat Legacy (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortal_K…) series that unfortunatelly, til the hour i wrote this entry at least, has stopped at the episode 08 featuring Scorpion and Subzero. Good movies, i really recommend, short, direct and well done, perfect for people who have few time to stop and watch (like me and a lot of artists).
